Please, Sir.........Can I have some more?"

Taken at the duck pond in Buriton, near Petersfield in Hampshire. We were sitting on a bench feeding the ducks and this female mallard obviously thought we weren't doing it fast enough :-))

She was happy to take duck food straight from my hand!

Check out the PiP for a shot of her settling down to rest after a rather large lunch.

I love the sweet little tilt of the head you've captured so beautifully Keith, which has given you a great title.....I love anything to do with Dickens :-) It looks like you fed her well seeing the PiP, where she is totally relaxed!

Two superb pictures with excellent detail in the feathers of this gorgeous female mallard :-)

Sunday greetings.

Two great images and one great story Keith. After hearing a story from 'experts' saying that feeding bread to ducks etc was very bad for them, I really don't know now to applaud or decry people (and children) giving out bread to ducks and geese. Anyway if it gets you shots like these, I can't blame you for carrying on.

Enjoy the week. Herb
