Thank you so much Rosa,............the council look after the whole of the common and the associated gardens very well and it's always worth looking round. Glad you like this view.

Have a good weekend yourself............I don't think it will get much cooler. Our current plan in to stay home on Sat and do a bit of gardening before the sun gets to hot. Sun is Father's Day, so we'll be out to lunch with my oldest daughter and her partner I expect.

There are quite a few of these trees in Southsea, and they all seem to be thriving. Probably because the weather her becomes warmer each year!
