Full Moon

This is my first moon shot. I got a new lens and it's probably not strong enough for a real close-up, but it was pretty exciting just to get some detail. I had too turn my contrast down or it was just a bright ball of light up there.

The shooting info says 7:56am, but it was really 6:56am I just hadn't changed the clock yet. It was light enough to see, but with the contrast dialed down it made it look like night time. Yeah, those big lenses must be really heavy. I'm glad you like it Wendi. (I bet Rachel was happy about the lens.)

Thanks Sami. The sky was like a watercolor in purples and blues.
