I had another chance today to get a sharp picture of an osprey.

This one was hovering over and over, looking at the pond water beneath him and getting a little closer to me with each hover.

This shot was as close as he got to me, not very close and a tight crop, before he leisurely headed off to further ponds.

Maybe the osprey gods will give me a third chance.
