Here's our once-a-mystery-now-a-Big-Pink-Allium at its peak Allium giganteum today.

I should have waited a few minutes to take the picture, until the bees returned -- it has turned out to be a real bee-magnet. That it has lots of bees around it bodes well for my hope of getting some seed from it in the fall.

It's nine or ten inches, like nearly 25cm, across now.
