This morning I checked on my garlic patch and discovered something I had not planted. It was very conveniently situated at the back of the patch so it won't interfere with the garlics. I'll let it grow.

I don't know yet what it is. The best guess the on-line plant identifiers can give me, at very low confidence too, is a Tradescantia. I am ready for contradiction.
