We have (literally) had at least some rain every day for nearly six weeks. Most days a lot of rain.

Yesterday, though, the sky cleared up a couple of times including just around sunset.

This was a little after sunset, looking south or south-southwest or so, where Venus ruled the sky. She looked all the brighter for having been invisible so long.
