This 1882 Grand Ledge building, now known as GrandLoft, was renovated a few years back by investors who planned to turn it into the Lansing area's premier nightclub. Didn't work out.

As you can see, the place is now occupied by a Mexican restaurant and a beauty parlor. And it sure looks nice--though I might have preferred a more interesting ground floor treatment.
