A true story: A year ago today we set off for Traverse City. A few miles out I started wondering if we'd made a reservation--so I called our hotel.
We'd not. The hectic summer'd done in our planned vacation.
While Pointes North could accommodate us for the rest of the long weekend, September 22 was unavailable. So we made the reservation we could with them and started discussing where we'd stay that night. I got on the phone and we ended up in Ludington.
And had a great time. As you can see, the sky was just glorious, as was the light.
