Jamestown Graveyard Marker
At the start of the Jamestown colony, the death rate was enormous (convicts elected to be hanged, rather than go there). When they were excavating the Jamestown site, they found a number of bodies buried in this area.
It's believed the remainder might have been washed out to see by erosion.
