Day trip to northwest Georgia with good friend and photographer, Alan Cressler. The target species was
Platanthera integrilabia or
White Fringeless orchid, which is globally imperiled and is listed as federally threatened. It is rare or presumed extirpated throughout most of its range. Turned out to be a very successful field trip day for the both of us.
