Got word yesterday about the blooming of Arethusa bulbosa in Transylvania County, North Carolina! It has not been seen there in more than 15 years, so this is a wonderful sighting. I made it up to the location and got a few images of the two plants just before we were assaulted by a severe thunderstorm. All worked out in the end...
