Today would be our last day botanizing out in the field in Newfoundland. We re-visited J.T. Cheeseman Provincial Park, just west of Channel Port-aux-Basques.
Here we found the elusive and rare
Platanthera orbiculata var. lehorsii or Le Hors' Pad-leaved orchid.
In addition, we saw a fine stand of Spoonleaf Sundew and many hundreds of White Fringed orchids in full bloom.
