Thanks, Constance. I 'collect' clocks in London in an abstract sort of way and this is one of the more unusual. I used to enjoy looking at it when I got off the train at Stratford but they moved it when they redeveloped the station for the Olympics. I wondered what had happened to it and then discovered that it had been reinstalled in a less prominent location fairly nearby. It was dark at the time so I didn't have time to check whether they'd replaced the zodiac symbols that were in the paving originally surrounding the base. Must get back and check!
