One of the murals on the theatre walls

I can just about make out the inscription here - I think it reads "Defeat of the Spanish Armada" It does show the boats on a choppy sea, so it probably is that.

Very nice, where is this building?

Jenny McIntyre replied to Stormlizard:

This is in Union Street, Plymouth. The street has a reputation for being a place of discos and fights, but this is an old theatre that's been left alone - such an amazing building.

Super cool, Jenny! I love love love murals and take pictures of them whenever I find them. This is a neat one for sure, thanks for sharing it with us!

I'm so glad you enjoyed the kalimba and the linked music! I was delighted that you and everyone had such a great time with the music and pictures! Isn't that fun?! Made me feel super.

So lovely to hear you got to spend the day with family. That's the BEST, Jenny, and I know it means so much to you. HAPPY DAYS!! :)

Jenny McIntyre replied to Janet Brien:

Oh it was such a wonderful day Janet. It's such a rare occurence that I get to be with both my at the same time. I think it was almost 3 years since that happened. Of course we have the grandchildren too - so it makes the day even more special.

Yes I loved the music from the kalimba. It's got such a distinctive sound, and so melodic. Thanks for sharing that with us.

Lovely, and very unusual.

Jenny McIntyre replied to Bee Orchid:

That's what I thought Fran. I hadn't seen one like this before and it was so sad that it was on a building that looked as if it was on its last leg.
