Je m'attendais à ce que les vagues soient plus grosses à cause du vent. C'était donc agréable de voir les vagues assez petites pour voir les surfeurs. Merci pour ton charmant commentaire Danielle.

WOO HOO!!!! Boy, oh boy does that look like a grand bit of fun! I have always wanted to try kite surfing but I'm afraid the learning curve will keep this from becoming a reality. I don't know how to surf for one thing...I don't like being out in crashing surf for another...the thought of sharks, well, that's the end of my interest right there! :D (Living on the Pacific coast, Great Whites are an actual reality...when scuba diving I am happy to say we've never seen one but once when we were setting up for a dive, some guy came back from a dive and told us he'd had a close encounter with one. NO THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!

WE STAYED CLEAR OF POISON OAK, YAYYYYY!!!! Heh, I think we know why our grey tank filled up so fast too...a pair of long, soapy showers to make sure we didn't get a rash...that would do it, but it was worth the inconvenience to dump the grey tank instead of being covered in a rash that would stay with us for 2-3 weeks! ACK! :)

Thanks for all of your wonderful comments about our trip, we had such a nice time!! Our next trip is just 5 days from now and will be 12 days!!! Such adventures, hooray!!

Don't forget the picture is zoomed in on the waves, and the surf probably wasn't as rough as it seems from the photograph. You should try kite surfing, Janet, it looks fun and you two love fun. As for worrying about sharks - we don't have any here, so no fear there.

When I go to Turkey, we are going to try snorkeling, I may have forgotten how to swim, but snorkeling should be okay, I'll use those foam "noodles" to keep me upright. Glad to hear you steered clear of poison ivy, I've never been close to any, but I do understand that you can have a really nasty reaction to it!! Have a great time when you go away again. I also look forward to all your wonderful photos.
