A good day for sailing...

As Turgetries faces west and the rest of the Mediterranean, it does get its fair share of the wind. So sailing is the most popular of sport here. The many islands dotted around the coastline must make sailing even more interesting

Yes the scene is beautiful Janet - the wind does roughen up the water somewhat which is fine with the sun shining on it and perfect for the yacht races they have in this area - it's well known for the wind. The islands are many in this area, which is ideal for races around them.
