M. Eiffel.
Herr Eiffel war ein französischer Ingenieur und Konstrukteur von Bauwerken aus Schmiedeeisen. Er war Erbauer des Eiffelturms in Paris.
He is best known for the world-famous Eiffel Tower, designed by his company and built for the 1889 Universal Exposition in Paris, and his contribution to building the Statue of Liberty in New York and here in Lisbon on one of her best known ancient streets.

A Porto seulement une fois par année pour visiter Grand Mère.

Excluindo a ponte Maria Pia no Porto, as principais obras realizadas por Eiffel em Portugal foram as seguintes:

1877 – Ponte dupla (rodoviária e ferroviária) de Viana do Castelo.
1877 – Ponte sobre o rio Tâmega.
1880 – Pontes na linha férrea da Beira Alta.
1885 – Estação de caminhos-de-ferro de Lisboa a Sintra.
1885 – 15 pontes na linha de Lisboa a Sintra.
