Used to play darts against them, home and away, in the uxbridge and Ruislip league, but I'm talking 1980-1982!

Isisbridge replied to Andy Rodker:

Gosh, I've really stirred your memory pot by changing buses here!
I was on my way to Chalfont St Peter.

Andy Rodker replied to Isisbridge:

You have indeed! I lived in Pinner and Harrow (but mainly the former) for 30 years almost to the day! And Chalfont St Peter is where ipernity stalwart Nick Weall used to live and where I used to have clients.

Isisbridge replied to Andy Rodker:

Do you mean you lived there for thirty years, or you lived there thirty years ago?

Funnily enough, I was thinking at the time that it might have been a place you knew,
so you must have left some kind of memory trail.

I was having my head read at the Epilepsy Centre.

I lived there for 30 years between 79 and 09. I posted a couple of old photos from 79 on Pano and here from Pinner, you might have been thinking of them.
I don't think there was an epilepsy centre there in the 80s. It would have been useful as my then girlfriend had epileptic seizures and she had to go into the centre of London. Chalfont St Peter would have been easier to get to.

Isisbridge replied to Andy Rodker:

The "colony" was created in 1894 (next to that obelisk).

The current investigation centre is affiliated to the National Hospital in London,
which is possibly where your then-girlfriend attended.
