I agree, but that is not the point here. The people wanting us to stop using cars or planes (or eating meat) are not interested in the environment. They want to CONTROL us.
Whatever their agenda or what they're not interested in, anything that discourages unnecessary private motoring is GOOD. Government dept is at crisis levels and tax revenue MUST be raised by any means possible. And what fairer and better way than by taxing selfish, environmentally-destructive motoring? And air travel, but there's little said about that.
1. If only "the globalists" drive or fly, the environmental impact will be far less. Is that bad?
2. I hope so, because it's in a week's time. The timing vis a vis the radiotherapy isn't ideal, as the side effects persist for weeks after treatment has ended, and it'll very likely be my last holiday to anywhere distant.
I realise that I'm missing the point here, but I myself do not regard either flying or motoring as a right, and am happy to be taxed appropriately for the privilege. If and when I can longer afford it, it will be no one's problem but mine, and that applies to everyone.
Of course it will be a bad thing if our communist dictators are swanning around in cars and planes whilst we, the digital serfs, are prevented from going anywhere. I'm surprised you even need to ask.
The serfs beneath their control. Are you being deliberately obtuse, or do you like the idea of living under a one-world communist dictatorship with zero privacy?
The environment won't be very good either, as the sky will be full of drones.

whilst you are locked in your 15-minute city eating bugs.
Have you booked your next holiday to India yet?
