"new" Vito C

I like it much more than the Minox 35 because it has reliable a shutter and better viewfinder.

Photographed with a Minolta X-500 and 2.8/24 on Polypan F, deved in Caffenol-C-M (rs)

No need to be sorry, Mike. I don't post a lot here anymore. C'est la vie, my "old" friend! Could be 7 years ago when we first met at the flickr caffenol group? Thank you very much for your appreciation.

Mikeinlagardette replied to imagesfrugales:

Reinhold, again apologies for the delay! Yes, I think at least seven years, - perhaps longer. I'm sorry to say that I do not think Ipernity will survive - and even Flickr has some threats. I hear.

You were the person who inspired me to start using Caffenol, and it was your encouragement that kept me trying, and I will always be grateful for that. I bought a secondhand DSLR recently, and that is also good fun !!

Thank you again so much for your kind words, Mike. The days of Ipernity and flickr are numbered, the world is spinning faster and faster exponentially, and I notice that with with greatest concern.

Yes the A100 is very nice, it was my first "serious" digital because I already had some Minolta AF lenses. If the shutter button makes trouble (the weak point of the A100), cleaning spray for electronic devices applied at the gap of the button and then firing it 100 times without batteries fixed it for me - my middle finger for Sonys planned obsolescence.

And now the very affordable A58 is my favorite "scanner" for bw negatives. But it already got a new mainboard during the guarantee period. Mishap again for Sony, it broke too fast. Enough lament for today, fortunately there is still some fun:
