Das Bild spiegelt eine Erinnerung an eine Bergtour vor über 50 Jahren wider!

very unusual and painted on wood ... wow ... you are unique ;-)

Bernhard Hofbeck replied to beverley:

Thank you Beverly!
In my carpenters-workshop I had a lot of plywood and marine ply - too small for building something and to good for throwing away, but good enough for painting with oil - after priming.

beverley replied to Bernhard Hofbeck:

what a brilliant idea ... ;-) well you know ... years ago ;-))))) long long long time ago ...
ages, years ago ... ;-)))) when I was young ... ;-) we would buy packets of stockings ;-)
nylons as they were called then ... within the packet the nylons were wrapped around
a square piece of soft board ... shiny on one side and matt on the other ... ;-) I could
not afford proper water colour paper .. far too expensive when you make a mistake
as you know ... and so ... I asked everyone to save me their little soft board from their
nylons for me to use to paint on ... ;-) both sides I used ... hehehe ... ;-)

Bernhard Hofbeck replied to beverley:

I remeber the times, when I used the back of old technical drawings for my own drawings. My first drawing (from 1960) is drawn on the back. Paper was expensive for a little boy - and I dreamed of watercolours (Aquarell) until 1968. ;-)))
