Gut sichtbar, direkt an der Atlantik-Küste neben dem Hafen gelegen (in Sichtweite zum Zentralen Busbahnhof), ist sie mittlerweile zum Wahrzeichen des modernen Santa Cruz geworden.
Architekt Santiago Calatrava hat auch hier bewiesen, dass er ein Meister neo-futuristischer Architektur ist. Für Interessierte finden täglich 1 stündige Führungen durch die Innenräume statt (s. PiPs)
