Hello

I was playing with a special cinema lens that I had adapted to my Nikon. The Isco Cinelux 50/1.6, made for professional film projection, turned my small kitchen into a night‑time film set. Late at night, with only the warm lights on, the triple‑glazed window acted like a complicated mirror, stacking reflections of me and the room into one glowing image. The lens turned those reflections into soft circles and swirls of light, so the scene felt half real and half like a dream. Each photo looked less like a simple snapshot and more like a frame from an unknown movie. In the end I sold the lens, but the buyer only wanted the glass, not my homemade adapter. Letting it go left me slightly sad, as if I had taken apart a private experiment in night‑time cinema. I hope he found his own way to use it well.

Solche Spielereien mit besonderen Techniken finde ich immer spannend.
Manches entsteht durch Zufall, anderes ist das Wissen um die Wirkung.
Sehr schön und interessant mit der Beschreibung dazu.

Thank you. These Cinelux lenses are known for special bokeh, yet the shooting brought an interesting new layer of reflection of street lamps through series of windowpanes and balcony glazing.

A fantastic, slightly surrreal effect with the multiple reflections and the warm colours!
