Underpass

The Klariska Street underpass in Bratislava is a humble hero of urban design—simple, sturdy, and smarter than it looks. Built beneath the tram tracks at Kapucínska Street, it quietly connects historic Old Town with Staromestská, letting pedestrians dodge trams and rain with equal ease. While it might not win awards for beauty, its no-nonsense concrete and straightforward form are pure “function over fashion”—like a trusty old raincoat for the city. Some might call it brutalist, but it’s really just a practical workhorse from the late 20th century, built to handle crowds and keep feet dry. Think of it as Bratislava’s secret tunnel for time travelers (or at least for people who hate waiting at red lights)!

Yes, LOL...lomographic was the intention :D

I am aware it is not technically, the best shot, yet, I wanted to highlight that there's something exceptional in a place we routinely pass. So plus a photo saying something more. (Actually I can think of other angles to show it. Thank you for making me thinking)

Mir gefällt grade das sehr gut. Ich finde Unterführungen immer ein bißchen unheimlich und dein Bild drückt das toll aus mit dem hell-dunkel-kontrast und der Körnung.

Actually this one is a colour photograph, but low lit that made it all fade to brown :D

Into the light! Without the person (and his reflection) it would be only half as good.

Initially I thought that people disturb a nice architecture photo. I started liking to have people there, otherwise there would be many pictures of famous buildings the same btw
