The Matsel Cabin

The Matsel cabin was built in approximately 1853 about three miles southwest of Carmi, Illinois. In 1996, it was acquired by the local historical society and moved to a lot next to the Old Cemetary. It is one of only two log cabins from the 1800s left in White County, Illinois.
