This photo was taken at the beach of Petten, a town at the North Sea in North Holland that belongs to the municipality of Schagen.

The dunes here were artificially built as part of a huge flood protection project between 2013 and 2015 (de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sand_gegen_Meer).

In the background at the left you can see a large panorama dune from which you have a wonderful view of the surroundings.
