Totney Drove
Totney Drove, A Rhyne and a distant "Isle of Avalon" topped by Glastonbury Tor, from my beloved Somerset Levels,
A "drove" on the Somerset Levels is a historic, unpaved or single-track rural trackway originally used for moving livestock. Today, they serve as quiet, scenic country lanes flanked by traditional ditches (rhynes) and are great for peaceful walking, cycling, and wildlife viewing across the moors,
Driving or cycling a drove road offers a quintessential Somerset Levels experience, but requires some specific local knowledge,
No bench from me this week routine hospital visits could take some time . will catch up on my return,
A good week to all,,,,,,,,,, Large view recommended,,,,,,
