Wall and Rabbits
A view of the point where the Kyle of Tongue ( a shallow sea loch) meets Tongue Bay and the Atlantic Ocean, Just offshore the uninhabited Rabbit Islands (except for the rabbits of course)
The area was a historic crossroads for Gaels, Picts and Vikings and the area is named after an Old Norse term which refers to a piece of land shaped like a spit or tongue. That tongue of land projecting into the Kyle is the terminal moraine of the Kyle of Tongue glacier, (https://discoverhighlandsandislands.scot)
HWW,,,,,,,The image is in 16.9 format therefore a large view is recommended!
