Storm Front!
Pre storm light on the Mull of Galloway lighthouse as a storm sweeps up through the Irish sea and across the Solway Firth, a few shots and time to retire to the onsite cafe!
The parched and colourless grass and the dark sky made this shot ideal for B&W
This is the southernmost point of Scotland. It is situated in Wigtownshire, Dumfries and Galloway, at the end of the Rhins of Galloway peninsula.
The Lighthouse which sits on top of 260ft cliffs was established in 1830 and engineered by Robert Stevenson, The White round tower is 26 meters high. and was converted to electricity in 1971!
HWW, and a large view recommended!
