The train now standing,
Great Western Railway large Prairie 2-6-2 T 5199 at Bishops Lydeard Station, having just arrived on a service train from Minehead,
Built in 1934 and withdrawn from service 1963, restored to this pristine condition after 20 years standing in a scrap yard!
This 22.75 mile (36.61 km) journey on the West Somerset Railway includes 11 stations, Mineheads Platform 1 is a quarter of a mile long which is a relic of Butlins holiday traffic of the past!
HFF and a nice weekend!
