Number 8!
Cairnbaan, Lock On the Crinan Canal, The canal has 15 locks and 7 bridges and runs from Ardrishaig on Loch Gilp in the east to Crinan on the Sound of Jura at the western end.
Opened in 1908, the 9-mile canal was built to provide fast travel for boats from Glasgow to Oban, bypassing the often dangerous Mull of Kintyre.
The canal is very busy during the summer months and a lock-side seat is perfect for just watching the boats,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Large for detail!
HBM and a good new week,

HBM and have a great week, Roger. You may want to use this one for HFF, if you don't come across a fence in the meantime ;-))
