Loch Ba,

A view across a corner of Loch Ba and the 50 square mile Rannoch Moor on a mild May morning. The high point in the distance is Stob Na Cruaiche 2425 feet (ca. 739 m)

This was at the heart of the last significant ice field in the UK at the end of the last ice age.

A large view is strongly recommended

I love the way, Roger, the watercourse acts as a lead-in line to draw the eye to the heart of the scene. All the best, Joe

A beautifully composed shot and clever use of the water as a leading line. I really like the light, especially where it's reflected on the water. The earthy colours in the landscape are simply gorgeous!

The last time I saw Rannoch moor it was pretty much frozen and I've never seen it in sunshine!
