Thanks Peter. This was a 'photo stop'. The train stops a little before the selected location, photographers climbed out of the train and walked ahead. The train then made a smokey and noisey run past the photographers, which is what it is doing here. When past the photographers the train stops and the photographers get back on the train. It the continues the journey.
