My own work. Trickier than you would think, and very messy.
They ended up looking like a young child's artwork :-)

Paint pebble/rock white to seal the surface. After drying, pencil in design. Acrylic paint. Plenty of water to wash brushes. Kitchen roll handy, to dry brushes and wipe paint from hands...

The black paint is the most difficult to work with, needs to dry thoroughly before applying other colours.
