For this week, I know some of you don't like doing photo collages, so alternatively, you can do the old fashioned collage with a collection of items, much like a still life, e.g. with shells, or pieces of driftwood, etc.
For more information on options and examples, please see the link to SC41, post 16 April ...

"For those who may not know Hockney or his body of work known as the Mosaics, here is a bit of history. Popular back in the 80's these "joiner" images by David Hockney, who created the concept, were originally Polaroid images stuck together with tape to produce one larger scene. The story is that Mr Hockney did not like the distortion created by wide angle lenses and while working on a commission for a painting of a living room and balcony, stumbled upon the idea of taking many photos with a Normal Lens and joining them together with adhesive tape to create the overall scene. He quickly realised that he actually really liked the effect and did a large number of subsequent mosaic style shots with a variety of subjects."

Collage can also include other media such as painting and drawing, and contain three-dimensional elements.
