This place is not really very popular with tourism, tourist presences are still very low, especially if compared with the nearby city of Matera. Castelmezzano is however a beautiful village, already awarded among the most beautiful villages of Italy. it is very probable that the tourist demand will grow a lot in the future, given to many tourist newspapers around the world put it as an unmissable destination.
