The two bronze sculptures of the Runners (or Athletes), found in Herculaneum in Italy, are kept at the National Archaeological Museum of Naples .They represent two young athletes in action, running. They date from the 1st century BC and are 1.18 meters high. They were discovered in the 18th century in the peristyle of the Papyrus villa.
