In 2009, when this was taken, Silverstein's rye bread was widely considered Toronto's best. Because it was. Then in 2016 they suddenly announced they had closed. I miss their bread still.

In Canada, successive governments have let companies merge until major industries have become cartels. So, for example, we pay enormous cellphone charges. The last attempt at a bank merger was denied, though. Have a good day yourself.
