The window air conditioner that didn't quite fit the window it's in makes this a rather droll shot. Also the missing trim at lower left. This is not a prestigious part of town, methinks. I wonder how reputable that driving school is???
This is part of a stretch along Bathurst Street in Toronto, Bob, that was very rapidly developed after WWII and is full of undistinguised buildings made with undistinguished materials. This building is actually above the norm for this stretch. The brick, for example, is well above the usual quality. In my reply to Keith I will reveal what was famous.
It was a restaurant called Sea-Hi Famous Chinese Food, Keith. It closed in 2020 after about 70 years, but this year re-opened in Vaughan, just north of Toronto proper but still in Greater Toronto. I have no idea what Sea-Hi means.
