Thanks, Joe. You're right to be concerned about the white powder. John Yudkin wrote a book about it called Pure, White, and Deadly, and "the industry" tried to make him stop talking, if you get my drift.
Thanks, Keith. Canadians love sugar. They really love sweets. I remember some of my English relatives trying some Canadian almond bark. They were nice about it, but you could see shock on their faces.
A nice color scheme - bands of it, looking even better, to me, in the thumbnail. Id have been tempted to turn it into a sort of painting, emphasizing the bands of color, but losing the sociological drift entirely. So well you didn't.
