Beautifully blue sky! This is almost a semi-abstract photo - without the tree, it would be, but the tree adds so much you wouldn't want to be without it in the shot.

I like the way that tree seems to be propping the frame up/ holding a window open. The tracks in the snow are a puzzler.

Very well composed John..........I love the contrast between the striking blue sky and the snow especially. The branches of the tree fill up the empty space above the snow.
