Thanks, Joe. I won't go out on mu ba;cony in winter. It has a low railing and I have long legs. This zoomed-up shot through a window is vertiginous enough for me.

The modern plastic wheelie bin, as we know it, was invented by Frank Rotherham Mouldings in the UK on March 12 1968.

As a nation we should hang our heads in shame...

And the plastic garbage bag was invented by Harry Wasylyk of Winnipeg. The Commonwealth in action!

Bins love the snow, although they're not sure how to interact with it...

They were invented in Slough, Denis, so probably unfamiliar with Canadian winter.

An interesting view from a great viewpoint John...............viewed large the detail is superb, especially all the footprints in the snow. The wheelie bins stand out nicely, even though they're not particularly pretty :-))
