hard to go wrong with ammonites

Cut-paper collage.

Ammonites photographed by Giraud Foster & Norman Barker. Arteries of hand prepared by Gunther von Hagens. Leaves of Guaiacana painted by Basilius Besler. Little pots are pharmaceutical in origin: they probably held ointments.

It’s too late for the ointments, or Besler’s therapeutic concoctions, I would think. We live under the sign of the Red Right Hand and better get used to it. Ammonites might help, of course, give us a proper perspective. If all else fails, get yourself plastinated. I’ve tried offering my brain to medical science, but they don’t want it for some reason.
