A digital painting made in Procreate on the ipad2.
Why make a Robert Rauschenberg knockoff (with colors & proportions changed)? Because I got a notecard of Rauschenberg's
Airport: Cat Paws, 1974 and was really impressed by it. It used to be, when artists wanted to fully appreciate and learn more about an artwork, they would set up an easel in the museum and copy it.
Also, it gave me a chance to experiment with a brush that kind of simulates loose-woven fabric and with combining digital painting & collage.
