HFF - Schwefeldämpfe hinterm Zaun

In der Toscana liegen geothermische Felder vulkanischen Ursprungs. Da hier in Italien die Kontinentalplatten von Europa und Afrika aufeinanderprallen, sind die Magmakammern dicht unter der Erdoberfläche. Aus den zischenden Fumarolen steigen heiße schwefelhaltige Dämpfe auf.
