Lava glass

Lava or Sicilian Glass was produced by the Mt. Washington Glass Company in the 1870's. It was well ahead of its time and was not overly popular with Victorian tastes. Today, it is highly collectable.

Awesome shot! And the same was true for impressionist paintings and today they're highly collectible if one can afford them.
