Yes and no Keith. I sit at home without pain relief (liquid Paracetamol ) it is special order only by doctors prescription, the doctor will not write the prescription without a letter from Addenbrooke's and Addenbrooke's sent me home without discharge notes as they had not received a report from the Surgeon. So there we are. Surgery was exactly as planned but after, what a F!!! up.

I think the whole system is broken Maurice. At least the surgery went as planned. I hope you're not in too much pain.

Admin still want bits of paper or Email ( a message the recipient prints on a bit of paper)
As in my case all persons involved have video meetings and make treatment plans there and then, I already know chemo could start next week but my gp doesn't know that because he hasn't got a bit of paper telling him.

I remember being told years ago that computers would replace "bits of paper".............it seems they were wrong!
