How lovely, you green-fingered wizzard!
I used to have a yucca that I though was immortal until one day just wilted and withered and died on me, the silly thing.

this raised bed has primarily weeds and cement-hard "soil". The yuccas, some lilies, the poor beleagured few peonies and a metric pantload of lemon balm were the onliest denizens-the butterflyweed,four-o-clocks,black-eyed susans,et.al. i will
credit to my green fingers.

The apartment building next to mine took out its lawns and flower beds and replaced them with what appears to be a weed-covered vacant lot. Conceptual landscaping, I guess. A witty riposte to the hegemony of the Romantic principles embedded (sic) in the dominant bourgeois conception of zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. This looks cool, though.
