It looks huge in the image. I imagine it must be an imposing structure in person.

I first saw it from the train window coming into Berlin through a stretch of low structures on mixed-use (farm, small industrial, housing) land, so its size was somewhat of a surprise. Added to that surprise is that once you've passed it, there's more low level housing before you start to feel that you're a part of urban Berlin. It thus feels disproportionate to its surroundings.
